ABOUT ME / PRACTICE
Knowledge grounded
in experience.
I am a certified Six Sigma Lean Master Black Belt (phew, that is a long title ;-)). Most consulting firms did not even exist when I started in 2000, and the employees of those established later were finishing university or had only just begun their studies. I work full-time in manufacturing and do not intend to permanently join a consulting firm or create my own.
Having had the opportunity to work with consulting companies, I can say from experience why. What struck me most was treating shared knowledge as a product. I understand that this may sound naive, because everything is for sale (?) and everything is a product (?). Yet I cannot recall any teacher telling me they had just sold me a product - they taught me something.
Starting my own company would force me to think about training as a product, and that is exactly what I want to avoid. My best recommendation is managerial work connected with Six Sigma and Lean in international automotive and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
For many years I have also worked with consulting companies and universities. I especially value my cooperation with Lean Six Sigma Academy Poland (www.LSSA.pl) in Lean Management and Six Sigma training. Since 2014 I have worked as an internal consultant coordinating activities within and between factories of a large corporation.
