Charts, statistical tests, SPC, MSA and process capability. The three-day version also covers the design and analysis of experiments.
What is Statystyka?
Statystyka is my original data analysis system, available in a web browser without installing additional software. It includes many methods used in quality management and process improvement. For many common analyses, it can serve as a free alternative to commercial software.
The program helps users prepare data, create charts, perform statistical tests, assess process stability and capability, analyze measurement systems, and design and analyze experiments.
Aim of the training
Free access to the program does not replace training. The program performs calculations and creates charts, but people must identify the problem, choose the right method, check its assumptions and draw conclusions that make sense for the process being studied. AI will not sign off on a decision for you - it is only a tool, while responsibility remains with us, the people using it.
Participants work through practical exercises and learn to interpret the results. The aim is to understand process variation, assess the reliability of data and use analysis results to make decisions.
Who is the training for?
The training is intended for:
- quality department staff,
- continuous improvement staff,
- process engineers,
- machine operators whose processes are being analyzed.
Training organization
The training is available in two-day and three-day versions. During the first two days, participants learn the basic functions of Statystyka and perform analyses used to assess processes. The third day extends the program to the design and analysis of experiments (DoE).
Example program for the two-day training
Participants are expected to take an active part in the exercises. Time may be allowed between the first and second days for independent assignments and tests.
Day 1
- Basic functions of Statystyka and working with data.
- Basic process characteristics.
- The Central Limit Theorem.
- SPC for continuous and discrete variables.
- MSA for continuous and discrete variables.
- Assignments to complete before the second day.
- Online tests covering the first day.
Day 2
- Review of the first-day assignments.
- Process capability.
- t-test.
- ANOVA.
- Correlation.
- Regression.
- Final test.
Additional day in the three-day version
Day 3 - DoE
- Purpose and principles of designing experiments.
- Process factors, levels and responses.
- Preparing an experimental design.
- Analyzing factor effects and interactions.
- Finding favorable settings with the optimizer.
- Interpreting the results and running a confirmation experiment.
Training cost
The price of dedicated training is agreed individually, depending on the selected version and scope of exercises. Use of the Statystyka program is free.
