Idea Collection System - from suggestion to implementation

Open the Idea Collection System

The Idea Collection System is a browser-based tool for submitting and managing employee improvement ideas (kaizen). An employee submits an idea in a minute, and the system makes sure every suggestion is reviewed, implemented or rejected with a clear reason.

The program continues to develop. User feedback, problem reports and suggestions help guide its next steps.

Easy submission from a phone

The employee scans a QR code at the line or workstation and enters an employee number and PIN - no account needed. They describe the current situation and the proposed change, tick the expected benefits (safety, quality, cost and more), add photos and co-authors. After sending, they receive the idea number and a QR code for checking its status.

A transparent process

Each idea goes automatically to the area owner, who reviews it, approves or rejects it with a comment, passes it on for implementation and finally confirms the result. The author can see the status at every stage. The administrator sets the number of stages, status names, time limits and permissions without programming.

  • roles: employee, area owner, implementer, coordinator, approver, administrator,
  • e-mails and daily reminders about ideas that have waited too long,
  • a coordinator dashboard with all ideas and change requests,
  • sites, areas and QR codes ready to print.

Who is it for?

Plants that want to organise their employee suggestion scheme: kaizen coordinators, Lean leaders, area managers and continuous improvement teams.
