Examples of Pareto for painting defects and costs of defects are available after selecting above presented diagrams.

If we assume that the first version of Excel was released in 1987, Excel took about 30 years to incorporate Pareto chart to the standard charts. From version 2016, Pareto is one of the built-in diagrams. Still, the built-in Pareto is not perfect. The Pareto presented by me is modeled on Minitab ones and includes, for example, the option to group categories with the smallest counts. This option improves Pareto readability when there are a large number of categories. Excel currently (status on 2021-11-12) does not provide grouping options, which makes Pareto unreadable with a large number of categories.
