What does it mean?

DoE - Design of Experiment is the one of the most advanced Six Sigma tools. In fact this is separate scientific discipline used to plan, conduct and analyze results of experiments.

Training Objective

DoE is an advance method of doing experiments. Primary it was used only by scientists. Now in the simplified way is used as standard Six Sigma tools to improve processes. There are many cases of DoE usage, but sometimes also one should consider usage of easier statistical tools.

DoE training presents basic theory. Is explaining selection of factors and their levels. In addition training also is highlighting the cost and labor intensity of experiments. The appropriate preparation, conducting of preliminary experiments can be the key to success.

The trainees will take part in simple experiments. They will learn how to use DoE module of Minitab. They will use graphical and statistical analysis methods, find out concept of screening design, full factorial design, fractional factorial design.
