This intermediate level Six Sigma training is ideal for those who are about to begin their adventure with Six Sigma methodology. Full completion of the training can be considered of only after successful Six Sigma projects closure.
Participants in the training will be prepared to conduct a project in accordance with the Six Sigma methodology. First, they will learn the history of the methodology and its foundations. They will learn what should and what should not be the subject of a Six Sigma project.
The training is divided into two weeks. In the first week, participants will learn how to initiate a project, define objectives, create a project charter, map the process, collect data, capture the current state of the process, etc. During the break, which should last about 3-6 weeks, between training weeks, participants will have the opportunity to initiate a project and use the Six Sigma tools they have learned. During the second training week, participants are introduced to more advanced statistical tools. In addition, there is an opportunity to discuss the progress of the project, analyze data from the participants and correct errors in projects.
Participants are introduced to the statistical program Minitab. They solve many practical examples and take part in group exercises during which they can simulate real processes, become familiar with variation in the process and identify the sources of this variation. In addition, they will be able to find such settings of steering process variables that it will be possible to achieve the desired goal.
Upon completion of the training, participants receive a diploma. The condition for receiving the diploma is active participation in the training and passing the final test on Six Sigma at the expected level.
In order to successfully complete Six Sigma Green Belt certification, each participant should complete at least one project. Normally, for this to be possible, participants should be mentored by an experienced Black Belt (such mentoring is not included in the training package and should possibly be separately agreed upon).
The training can be conducted in Polish, English or German.
